How is Chronic lack of Sleep Like Office Cleaning?

Chronic Lack of Sleep  Leads to Brain Damage

Did you know that getting sleep from 10-12 PM is the best restorative sleep we can get?
I didn't. Most nights  I don't get to sleep till 1 or 2 Am.
I found this article and it will change the way I get my sleep from now  on.

A  recent study  from University of Pennsylvania to has shown disturbing evidence that chronic sleep loss causes irreversible physical damage to and loss of brain cells.
Missing out on sleep for consecutive nights may do more than make you pour a larger coffee—it may lead to irreversible damage of brain cells.

Doctors are recommending that we get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep every night.
Napping and trying to make up the hours on the weekend just doesn't work because the brain cells are all ready destroyed."In general, we've always assumed full recovery of cognition following short-and long-term sleep loss,
One doctor explains it in a very simple way.
He used the example of an office building.
At night  all the office workers go home  and the cleaning crew comes in to cleans the offices and the building to get it ready for work the next day.
Our bodies and brains do the same thing.
At night when we're sleeping the cleaning crew (cells) comes in repairs/cleans the damaged cells, dumps the free radicals ,sets everything in order for the work for the next day.
However,if the cleaning crew only has a few short hours to work in they can't get all the housekeeping chores done right. It'll be a slip shoddy job.

The discovery can lead to creating treatments for boosting SirT3 production and keep brain cells safe.
Not only will sleep protect the brain cells but let's not forget that it will help the rest of the body to slow the aging process.

2 Distinct Causes of Aging Skin?

There are 2 distinct causes of the aging skin and body and at some time or another we all feel helpless about those effects of aging. We think that we can't do anything about it but that myth is changing rapidly. Most of look forward not only to living longer but,  we want to have a full life with vim and vigor and not the debilitating process our parent or grandparents have experienced.
True, we can't stop the progression of aging but,  it does beat the alternative .
We look at the visible outward signs of aging and think those are the causes.
No, not true, there are only 2 distinct cause of aging everything is the end result of the natural aging process,
In order for you to look and feel younger we need to start at the beginning and exam briefly the actual distinct cases for aging. When we begin to understand the underlying cause we can then begin to explore different reactions to them. Just doing one thing doesn't  really work such as, applying a cream that promises to reduce wrinkles, or getting needles jabbed in the face to get of  rid those wrinkles in an instant . It may help temporarily but we have to attack the underlying cause to prevent or as in some cases a reverse. Having surgery or fillers are not only expensive but they don't last forever either. They do have to be repeated and what is the long term effects of all that anyway? Does anyone really know?
It can be done with the knowledge of science that is now available. There's cutting edge research being explore in the field of gene expression science that decodes the aging process. Dr.Chang, who authored the book, "The Aging Myth", explains in great detail "how he and others collaborated to discover and identify the aging process. With this knowledge they can now target and reset the aging related genes to a more youthful state."

I've been using this ageLoc Galvanic Body Spa now for a couple of weeks now as an experiment. I'll keep you the reader informed as to how well it works. I've taken before pictures and they're not very pretty and I've done all the measuring so I can accurately keep a record of any progress. So with  consistent effort  of using it 2 times a week for about 10 minutes each time I should see results soon.

The other beauty of it is, it's all done in the privacy of your home on your own schedule.
It takes just a few minutes 2 or 3 times a week.

For them it's cleanse and light moisturizing.
The next faze is for our teenagers whose skin care issues might acne.
The twenty year old still might be dealing with that issue but generally they're not to concerned yet  because they're skin is toned, youthful and radiant.
When we get in our thirties things may be changing ever so slightly. Maybe some unevenness due to previous pregnancies or sun damage

The fifties and sixties are known as the mature skin with a variety of concerns.

Basic Needs
Your skin has up to 10 essential needs for optimal health and beauty
These needs can be divided into two categories: basic and advanced needs.
Your skin's basic needs are the minimum, daily needs or regimen steps all skin types require.
Advanced needs are those that address specific concerns of your skin and that can be met by
incorporating additional regimen steps as needed.
Starting in our late 20s, our advanced needs steadily increase.
Together, basic and advanced needs form the essential needs of the skin.

Great Skin in Your Thirthies

Rules for a Beautiful Future
In your thirties, sunlight and environmental pollution will have begun to have noticeable effects on your skin’s collagen.
And with collagen production naturally dropping, you might be noticing some wrinkles and sagging as your
skin doesn't bounce back quite as readily as it used to.
Keep a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen as part of your daily regimen.
To counter the damage being done by the environment,
it’s also important to get a balanced diet rich in antioxidants such as vitamins A, B, C and E.
These and other powerful antioxidants protect your skin against free radical damage and help your skin repair itself, and stay healthy looking and moist.
Finally, a product that contains polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) can help stimulate cell renewal and
enhance your skin’s radiance for a smooth, more youthful looking complexion.

You might also like to try a home microdermabrasion treatment.
This kind of treatment can quickly and gently polish your skin while removing dull skin cells and toxins for a fresher, healthier looking appearance.
By understanding both the essential, daily needs and the advanced needs of your skin,
you can easily create a regimen that meets those needs.
You can do this by incorporating specific regimen steps and specially formulated products into your daily routine.
It’s important to remember that the best skin care products are designed to work synergistically to meet the essential needs of the skin.
As they do this, they maintain and enhance the health and natural beauty of the skin.
A product that is highly recommend is ageLOC Transformation Elements
This complete and comprehensive skin care system cleanses, purifies, renews, moisturizes, and reveals younger looking skin in eight ways—for a more youthful, healthier looking you now and in the future.

Aging Shouldn't Hurt

Truth is we will all age sooner or later. It's just that some will age better than others. There are many factors why this is. There's the genetic factor and the environmental
It seems to me  that the concern about aging has been around since the beginning  of time.  According to legends Cleopatra was always at the spa to keep herself looking youthful. Ponte Deleon was in search of the fountain of youth for Spain and Benjamin Franklin once said this about aging “Wish not so much to live long as to live well’.  There are many others since then that have created the proverbial “snake oil “ potions  to keep us healthy or live longer. There are still many of those kinds of products on today’s market that tout that they are the secret weapon against aging. If that quest wasn't such a concern why is that it’s a trillion dollar industry?  As Joe Chang states in his introduction in his book “The Aging Myth”, ”We all age, but do we  have  to stumble blindly down the years…” .
I think we’re only kidding ourselves when we buy into the often heard statement that it’s a state of mind or you’re only as old or young as you feel. That’s partly true and partly myth. We tell that lie t to ourselves when we think we can’t do anything about it or don’t want to do anything about it. Truth is always reflected back in the mirror.

Fortunately we live in age where science has had many break through to keep us healthier and younger. The baby boomers are expected to live longer and healthier than their parents to such a degree that there it’s been a great concern in Washington. Information abounds everywhere on how to eat better, exercise, even learning new things to keep our minds sharp and let’s not forget how to improve our appearance  looking youthful. We all have heard the expression the sixties is the new fifties and the fifties is the new forties.  In decades to come we’ll be chanting a hundred is the new seventies. Personally I hope so. I would love to be that age and still have the same or close the vitality I have today. I want to look younger but without needles, knives or other potentially harmful products on or in my body. If that is you as well then you are the person(s) that will benefit from the information that I want to share.  I’ll cover various topics  on exercise, nutrition, skincare , supplements and  the science of aging.

On my website you'll discover that I've categorized products according to age needs or problem areas.
All these products are money back guaranteed and  I am more than willing to discuss your particular needs.

Great Skin in Your Twenties

anti_aging mother_daughter Are these ladies mother and daughter or sisters?
If you’re like everybody else, you want healthy, great-looking skin—no matter what age you are.
Skin that is clear, smooth, and radiant proclaims good health and lends tremendous confidence to how you feel about your appearance.
By following some fundamental rules and by giving your skin everything it needs to function at its peak,
you have the formula for younger, healthier, smoother skin at any age.

GREAT SKIN IN YOUR TWENTIES
In your twenties, you are probably enjoying some of the best skin of your life—moist, smooth, and supple skin.
However, your skin cell renewal rate has already dropped, and dead cells aren’t being shed quite as easily,
leaving your skin dull. And the acne of your teenage years might still be hanging around.
This is a great time to establish a beneficial skin care regimen that will keep your skin in great shape while protecting it against damage from the environment.
Use a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and dead cells while moisturizing. Follow with a toner to add radiance and restore proper pH balance.
Then apply a product to preserve youthful collagen and elastin in your skin.
Finally, use a good moisturizer and SPF 15 sunscreen to guard against the sun’s damaging rays.
If you’re still struggling with acne, consider using a cleanser, toner, and lotion that have been specifically
formulated to clear and calm irritated skin, manage oil levels, and protect against future breakouts.
To be continued :  Future Posts this week will feature each of  the next decades.
